Djibouti: The New Railway Line Connecting Ethiopia and Djibouti to Start Early 2016

The new railway line connecting Ethiopia and Djibouti will open starting early 2016 the head of the Ethiopian Railways told the press. The 450-mile line which is being built by China Railway Engineering Corporation (CREC) and China Civil Engineering Construction (CCECC) at a cost of $4 billion is one of the major projects towards creating new manufacturing industries in Ethiopia.
The project is also part of Ethiopia's plan of constructing around 5,000 km of new lines across the country by 2020. Getachew Betru, Chief Executive Officer, Ethiopian Railways Corporation, told the press "By October 2015, a considerable portion of the Addis Ababa-Djibouti project will be completed." He added "We will start in early 2016." He further noted "It is a game-changer for us... It will be one of the most vibrant economic corridors in the world."

The joy of Genzebe at the finishing line
Ethiopia won the first gold medal at the IAAF Beijing World Athletics Championship in the female 1,500 mt race with world record holder Athlete Genzebe Dibaba in Beijing, yesterday.
Genzebe Dibaba won the race leaving the second place for Kenyan Faith Kipyegon and the Netherlands athlete of Ethiopian origin Sifan Hassan third. Genzebe ran a last 800 m of 1:57.2 in the 1,500 m for the Ethiopian's first global title.
Genzebe Dibaba is also a two-time world indoor champion.
Genzebe, whose elder sister Tirunesh is a multiple world champion, won in 4:08.09, and the 24-year-old looks good to add more medals of her own after dictating the final like a veteran.
The sister of the triple Olympic champion Tirunesh and the cousin of the twice Olympic champion Derartu Tulu, Genzebe added the outdoor title to the indoor world crown she won in 2012.
She said: "I worked very hard for the last three years. It's great to have such a strong performance. My sister won the gold medal in this stadium at the Olympic Games so I wanted to share this family experience."
Tirunesh, who took this season off to have a baby, won the 5,000 m-10,000 m double at the Bird's Nest Stadium in 2008.
Kenya's former world junior champion Faith Kipyegon was the only runner to stay with Genzebe over the last 400 and took silver in 4.08.96.
Kipyegon said: "Genzebe is just too fast in the finish. I wanted to keep up with her but she is the real winner. She is also my idol and my friend. With her in the final the silver has a taste of gold to me."
The Ethiopian-born Sifan Hassan took bronze for the Netherlands in 4.09.34 but was not happy.
She said: "It was not the race I wanted to run. I completely messed up my tactics, I was hoping for a faster pace. I am so upset about that, I have to come back again and try for more."
Laura Muir's bid for the first major medal of her career ended in disappointment when she came home fifth. The Scot left herself too much to do and was never in contention, despite finishing strongly, crossing the line in 4:11.48.

Kenya: Google Transit Map for City Commuters

Nairobi commuters will benefit from a new service by Google, that maps out all gazetted bus stops within the city.
The Google Transit, which was launched yesterday, is aimed at streamlining public transport.
"Launching Google Transit in Nairobi is part of our effort to make Google Maps more comprehensive, accurate and useful for people within the city who take buses and matatus to their next destination," said Google country manager, Charles Murito.
Country program manager Evans Arabu said Nairobi becomes the third African city, after Lagos and Johannesburg, to use the service which is available in more than 2,800 other cities and towns worldwide.
The upgrade, that has taken three years to develop, was done in collaboration with Google, Digital Matatus and the Rockefeller Foundation.
"Roughly 3.5 million people depend on matatus every day in Nairobi but have little information on the over 130 different routes," said Sarah Williams from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Fernando Wangila, the ICT deputy director at the NTSA, said passengers can alert authorities on illegal matatu operations.
Google said it will extend the service, that is available on Android and iOS mobile platforms, to other parts of the country.
A PDF version of the map can be downloaded from both mobile platforms.

The Rituals in Living By Da’vid King

  The Rituals in Living
                     By Da’vid King, the modern psalmist

 Let's say you don't know that the world has series of rituals done daily to keep things happening. Just like God is in three forms, so also is man three beings and Living or manifestations in three forms. WHAT IS AND WILL BE MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL FORM, A SPIRIT AND AN EXISTING POWER.
   * THE PHYSICAL FORM
   * A/THE SPIRIT
   * EXISTING POWER

 THE PHYSICAL FORM: This is what you can see, the frame that is touchable. The body for human beings.

 THE SPIRIT FORM: This is where its gets tricky, everything seen has a spirit form. The spirit hears the voice of declaration. For everything must be made in the spirit form first before manifestation. God deliberately wants us to know this "he said let us make him in our own image: Jesus became flesh to complete physical form of God, he came and was seen. The Holy Ghost unseen and God the existing power. Therefore all things where made this order. If it is living it has life and if not it doesn’t but that does not mean it is not in its three forms nature. You can see it, you can tell it to move and it will move because it obeys a faith-filled command. (Faith-filled simply means believing it will happen, a believing force that unleashes the spiritual to manifestation)
 Everything that exists have a spirit form, this is a fact.

 THE EXISTING POWER: This simply means the fact that it is still on earth. Can be seeing by all living creatures, can be perceived and felt. You can see the rock, spirits feel and perceive each other and the breeze can be felt on the face. They exist but in the situation that it loses its existing power, it fails to exist immediately. Note: the living can seize to exist but his or its remains can still enjoy existing power. The remains seizes to exist when it gets destroyed to vanishing point.

What are the Rituals in Living? Christians are expected to daily observe meditations, chanting and incantations. This acts are used deeply by other religions because they understand its daily use. Those that take the day by night and the night by day are those that declare words. The power in the tongue that God Spoke means we must speak to bring to being.  Rituals in Living is the daily prayers, positive declarations, meditations, songs and words said to the air and earth, to manifest our desire. Great achieved men always say "keeping saying the positive and keep speaking it out"

 These rituals must be done to pave a way for anything to manifest. These words should not sound negative to you, these are deep secrets revealed in THE BIBLE. To create something new, one must speak, believe as you visualize and make. Just as God spoke, visualized and made. After waking up in the morning, you observed your morning prayers daily. This is a ritual. Those that sing and speak in tongues are enchanting and saying incantations.

  IF YOU MUST CREATE THAN YOU NEED THE RIGHT RECIPE OF RITUALS watch out for my next publication on The Rituals in Living 2
